Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Aline Clear Aligner System, we are committed to providing high-quality, precision-engineered orthodontic solutions. Because our aligners are custom-made medical devices manufactured specifically for an individual patient based on a doctor’s prescription, our policy is governed by the following terms:

1. Nature of Custom Products

All Aline clear aligners are custom-manufactured using 3D scanning and planning technology. Once a treatment plan is approved by the doctor and the manufacturing process begins, the product cannot be reused, resold, or returned for a refund due to change of mind or clinical changes outside of our control.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Manufacturing: Orders can be cancelled only before the final treatment plan (3D setup) is approved by the doctor. If a cancellation is requested at this stage, a refund may be issued minus a “Planning Fee” to cover the cost of the digital setup and technician time.

  • After Manufacturing Begins: Once the aligners have entered the production phase, no cancellations or refunds will be entertained.

3. Manufacturing Defects & Damaged Goods

We take immense pride in our quality control. However, if a product is found to be defective:

  • Reporting: Any manufacturing defect or shipping damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.

  • Resolution: If a defect is verified (e.g., a cracked aligner or incorrect fit due to manufacturing error), we will manufacture and ship a replacement for that specific stage at no additional cost.

  • Evidence: We may require photos or the return of the defective aligner for quality audit purposes.

4. Clinical Refinements

Orthodontic movement can sometimes vary from the digital prediction.

  • If a patient’s teeth do not track as expected, “Refinement” aligners may be required.

  • The eligibility for free or discounted refinement aligners depends on the specific treatment package purchased (e.g., Lite vs. Comprehensive). Please refer to your doctor’s agreement for package-specific details.

5. Refund Process

  • In the rare event that a refund is approved by our management, it will be processed through the original payment method.

  • Refunds may take 7–10 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank/payment gateway.

  • Shipping costs and digital planning fees are generally non-refundable.
